A good night and sleep and a good day for adventures. First destination: Busan Station to take City Tour Bus to Taejondae Cliffs. It's a hop on hop off concept bus. Taejondae has a very nice sea view and beaches along the way. When reach Taejondae, you can either can walk to the cliffs or get a tickets for Danubi.I walked.

The Danubi Train
Gotta admit the view of Taejongdae is spectacular.
Gotta appreciate mother nature
The jaw dropping view

I dropped by at Songdo Beach but unfortunately it's Autumn and no one in in the water. A visit to Jalgachi market is a must and I am lucky to choose the correct date. It's Jalgachi Food Festival! Here's my lunch at Jalgachi market.

Jalgachi Food Festival

A couple of walks away from Jagalchi Market, there is Bupyeong and Gukje market for visit. You can buy from food, souvenirs, daily products from these market. Apparently most visually tasty view is non other than the KIMCHIIS!!!!

It's everywhere
These market are located all around the places. A little of snack plus exploring, evening is fast approaching. It's time to proceed to next place, Busan Tower. It's one of the highlight in Busan and the night view there is extremely mesmerizing,
Lotte Shopping Mall just opposite Busan Tower

Skyline from Busan Tower

One little surprise for me, Busan Tower is quite a romantic place. I should get a lover to come here with me. Like in Paris, there is a garden of love lock. Many couples come here to make a mark for themselves.
The love lock signifies everlasting love
An a photography area

After hanging out a while at Busan Tower observation young South Korean sweet dates, it's time to move to my next anticipated place. Gwanggali Beach & Diamond Bridge, here I come!

Gwanggali is a very lively beach, full of activities, people, life and colour. It also have the spectacular view of colour changing Diamond bridge.

Diamond Bridge that will changes colour
The beach, the sea & the city
With romantic Kpop song played through the PA system along the beach, it's one of the most happening place I ever been. Here's a short video on the background Kpop music played along the beach.

Walked along the beach, at the end of the beach, some South Korean girl are playing traditional music. I guess is part of the university or cultural activity. Anyway I am so lucky to be able to catch their superb performance. It's free and great opportunity for me to get into Korea culture. And their performance is full of energy and positive spirit. Some video on their performance:

After long hours of performance, it finally ended. Night is getting late and I will need to get back to Namgu before the metro stop operation. Before that, I decide to get a cup of COLD STONE ice cream before I call the day off. I have been craving for COLD STONE for many many years since I first tasted it in Taiwan back in 2011.

To be continue in Second Day...

Backpacking South Korea - Busan & Seoul (First Night)

It was 1 year ago, my my first lone backpacking experience. The idea of backpacking alone never ever occur in my mind. It was a sudden urge of holidaying yet having difficultly to arrange matching times with friends. I gave lone backpacking a try.

First night 10 Oct 2013 - Namgu, Busan
Reached late and check into hostel. I met with my first roommate. My first hostel roommate came from Poland where he took the more adventurous route by going to smaller town (for lantern festival) far away from big city (he was working at Czech Republic btw)

It's late so I asked the hostel owner (Kim's House), Mr Kim for food advise. Grab my fast dinner an walked around the neighborhood for a brief stroll. Guess what I see.

My little heaven
